2011 BMW X3 Sports

BMW will unveil at the 2010 Paris Motor Show the 2011 BMW X3 and, along with it, the M Sports package for the new BMW X3.  The 2011 X3 will come for the first time with Auto Start/Stop function combined with a six cylinder engine and an eight speed automatic transmission for optimal fuel efficiency.

The M Sports package for the new X3 will include a new front bumper, new side sills, a new rear bumper with an integrated diffuser and exhaust system, a new rear roof spoiler and also new M-style alloys that will make it a lot more stylish than the standard model. The M package will also include a couple of sport upgrades inside the cockpit such as a new M Sports steering wheel with paddle shifters, new sports seats and aluminum pedals.

The 2011 Bmw X3 will offer a choice of two upgraded power units, a 2.0L four cylinder turbo diesel with 184 HP and 380 Nm of torque for the xDrive20d and a 3.0L engine with 306 HP and 400 Nm of torque for the xDrive35i.

The new X3 xDrive20d will be able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.5 seconds and it could reach a top speed of 210 km/h while running with an average fuel consumption of 5.6 l/100 km and emitting 146 g/km of CO2. The sportier X3 xDrive35i will run from 0 to 100 km/h in only 5.7 seconds and it could reach a top speed of 245 km/h. The average fuel usage is 8.8 l/100 km and the CO2 emissions level is 204 g/km.
